On complex studies, you may need to build a large set of quotas, and you’ll need to keep track of each one.

Creating Quota Groups
Quota Groups are used to organize your survey’s quotas. Rather than having one long list of quotas, organize your quotas into groups to make them more manageable.
To create a Quota Group, click the Add Group button.
To rename the newly created group, double-click the group name. You can then add new quotas to the group by clicking Add Quota within the group.
Using Multiple Match Handling
Once your quotas are organized, you’ll want to consider how you want to handle respondents who meet the conditions set for more than one quota. By default, respondents increase the quota count for every quota they meet. Multiple Match Handling lets you customize this behavior.
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the quota group.
- Point to Multiple Match Handling.
- Select how you want the system to handle respondents who meet the conditions of multiple quotas in the same quota group.
Common options include:
- Place in All increases all quotas the respondent qualifies for. This is the default behavior when multiple quotas are met.
- Current Defined Order uses the defined order. If a respondent qualifies for two quotas, only the qualifying quota highest in the list will increase.
- Least Filled increases the quota with the lowest count.
- Most Filled increases the quota with the highest count.
Reporting with a Public Quota Dashboard
If colleagues need to view quota counts in real time, use the Public Quota Dashboard to create a web page that displays constantly updated quota counts.
To create a Public Quota Dashboard:
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the quota group. To enable the dashboard, click Public Quota Dashboard, and then click Save. Saving exits you from the Quota window.
- Go back to the Quotas menu from the Tools drop-down menu. Select Click here to access Public Quota Dashboard. Once the dashboard opens, you can copy the dashboard’s URL and distribute the link to others.
