Fulfillment for Parent and Child Projects

This article will outline changes to the Fulfillments process with Parent & Child Projects.

Helpful Tip: Make note of both the Parent Project number and Child Project number for the workshop being fulfilled, as both numbers are required for the fulfillment process. 

 

From the Child Project: 

  1. Change the Status to Complete. 

  2. Fill in the Attendee Count from the final roster. 

Navigate to the Sales Order (SO) associated with the project and click the "Fulfill" button at the top of the page. 

 

On the Item Fulfillment page, complete the following: 

  1. Change the Status to Completed. 
  2. Locate the Parent Project line item on the SO. 
    • Check the Fulfill box of the Parent Project. 
    • In the Quantity field, enter the number of delivery days/hours associated with the workshop being fulfilled. Refer to the contract for more information regarding whether the parent is tracking days or hours. 
    • For example, for a 3D Sprint Selling workshop, enter "3" in this section. 
    • In the Associated Project field, enter the Parent Project Number. 
    • In the Associated Child Project field, enter the Child Project Number.
  3. Click "Save" button at the top or bottom of the page.
