Zoom Facilitator Guide: Mute Participants

Hosts can mute others if there is background noise or interference. 

 

Caution: if you mute all it will mute the facilitator as well. 

 

In some cases, it is recommended that users do not mute themselves throughout the VILT engagements unless there is feedback. The intention is to replicate an in-person classroom experience as much as possible, and participants are encouraged to engage in conversation throughout the engagement. This will depend on company culture and the content/learning solution.
